We can supply an experienced coach for your teams for set periods, for example, 3 or 6-month assignments. The coach will act as a part of your organisation and work with teams on their Agile maturity.
Drop-In Agile Coach
In reality, this is what most organisations need rather than engaging a full time 6 or 12-month coach. The Drop-in Agile coach will drop by once or twice a week to spend an hour or two with your teams.
Online Coaching
Are you in a remote location or have distributed teams? We can coach your teams online. This means you can be based anywhere in the world, but have regular coaching sessions with your teams, scrum masters, leaders, and product owners face-to-face online using tools like “Zoom” and “Slack”.
Visiting Expert or Trainer
Want someone to drop by to talk to your teams? Perhaps you need an assessment or a half-day planning session. How about someone to guide your teams through story writing or story pointing? Help guide your Product Owner answering some questions and introducing new tools. Perhaps take a look at your board, burn-down chart, and the backlog to make suggestions, or ask some tough questions allowing the team to come up with their own solutions.
Visiting Team Facilitator
Sometimes teams might benefit from an independent outside coach coming in for a couple of days to run a Backlog Refinement session, Story Pointing session (estimations), a Sprint Planning session, a ShowCase, a Retrospective, perhaps a couple of Stand-up sessions.
Temporary Scrum Master
Iteration Manager, Team Coach, whatever you call it (we are Agile and don’t push any particular framework and work with them all), we can supply an experienced coach for a set term to come in and become the Scrum Master for the teams.
Pick’n’Mix
Combine any or all of above. A typical scenario might be to hire a contract Agile coach for one or two weeks to work with your teams full time. The coach is there to see and understand what happens and get to know the teams and perhaps take the teams through some Agile training if needed. They can then drop back to Online or Drop-In coaching, to return for another week or two after a couple of months to see how the teams are going, realign them to the Agile principles and to kick off another growth in their agile journey.
Without an experienced coach, who has been through the pains and seen the difference that well-coached Agile teams can make, your team may not be able to achieve the high value that you hope to see.
