Boost your career.
You are a scrum master, team coach, team lead, or perhaps you have a title like “transformation lead”. Maybe you are an agile coach for your organisation or a roaming or contract agile coach going from team to team, organisation to organisation. Perhaps you aspire to be one of those.
You are the rock that everyone leans on; everyone comes to you with questions, problems, and support. It sometimes feels like you are on your own. You are supporting everyone, and you are expected to have all the answers and know all the right things to say.
Sometimes you don’t have all the answers, sometimes you need to talk out a challenging situation with a knowledgeable, confidential mentor, coach, and friend who’s on your side but outside your environment. Someone with experience who understands what you are going through because they’ve been there themselves.
Who is supporting you?
DragonsArm takes pleasure in reaching out to you all and offering either personal, one-on-one mentoring, or group support. These sessions are completed online using Zoom and using Slack as a medium for questions and discussions outside of the online meeting times.
Because this is online, we can work to your schedule. We have extremely experienced supporting coaches and mentors available in Australia and New Zealand, and in the USA and Canada so can offer times relevant to you.
Please contact me to sign up or ask questions, or if you want to talk to me directly before making a decision, please choose a time for a free chat in the form below. I’d love to hear from you.
Daily One-on-One Coach/Mentor
This option is designed for personal online 1-1 mentoring support of a single ScrumMaster / team coach. This assumes daily 1-hour meetings but will be organised around commitments.
Initially for two weeks, then either continue for another two weeks, migrate to group sessions, or stop altogether. Also recommended is the Add-on Option shown on this page.
Price: $1,990 for two weeks, then $200 per session (add Tax or GST if applicable)
This option consists of daily, up to 5 hours per week one-on-one meetings on Zoom. Assumes 1 hour per day but can be negotiated around other commitments on either side.
Group Mentoring
Group mentoring is ideal for ongoing support where you can not only get support from our coaches and mentors but also hear the stories of others in your position. This is a great place to get to know others and support each other.
Price: $250 per Month (add Tax or GST if applicable)
This option consists of…
-
Free 40 minute initial call to get to know each other and ensure that you get placed in the correct group.
-
One hour per week Zoom meeting month by month. Stay as long as you like or leave whenever you want. Stay and support others and increase your own knowledge and support at the same time
-
Group Slack channel for questions and group discussions so you can get help for urgent questions and support
-
Occasional postings and insights from DragonsArm onto the group for reading
-
A new topic each week, or, when there is a need, focus on whatever the group would like to discuss
Add-on Option
On-Site visit for 16 hours in total spread over 4 days – for example 4 hours per day.
Price: Call today to discuss.
Designed for initial environment understandings and would be especially useful to add on for the One-on-One Coach/Mentor Option.
-
Meet the team, get to know the workplace, review the boards and the current processes.
What’s involved? What will I learn? How will you help me?
One-on-One sessions
At each session, we will discuss various areas where you are with your team(s). I’ll mainly be asking some questions to try to find out if what you are currently doing is the best for the team. At the end of the session, you will have a chance to ask me direct questions where you need answers.
Below are some of the discussions and questions we will have during the coaching session – this list is simply an example and will depend entirely on the progress and the detail supplied.
-
Initial discussion on who you are, who your teams are, your description of the organisation, working environment etc.
-
What is the makeup of the team(s)? e.g. do you have an available PO and ScrumMaster?
-
How do your teams work? What is the main framework used by the teams? do other teams differ?
-
What are your working environments? What BVB do you produce (Big Visible Boards)? e.g. ScrumBoards, Kanban, Burndowns etc.
-
Do you have a cadence? What size? How do you do your estimates? What meetings (e.g. Scrum meetings) do you have and how often?
-
Is all that working? What isn’t working? What don’t you do? Why?
-
What do you think would work better in your organisation?
-
How are projects monitored? How often are teams pressured to make changes and what happens then?
